Following up again re Baby bald eagle hatches at the National Arboretum – on today’s webcam view – one parent has just brought a fish back to the nest and is carefully picking it apart and giving it to his mate. One baby hatched and other may hatch tomorrow. Both parents are on the nest as rain turns to snow and the temperature drops. The second baby eagle will be playing catch up with its sibling for food and will face extra challenges from predators.
