According to a late afternoon report from CNN, White House spokesman Scott McClellan announced that the President has agreed to accept the request of the 9/11 Commission to submit their report after the May 27 deadline. The Commission Chair and Vice Chair issued a press release today stating their intention to issue a “public, unclassified report no later than July 24.”
