TRAC Report – Prosecutions for June 2010: “Federal criminal prosecutions remain at near-record levels, totaling 15,857 for the month of June according to the most recent figures released by the Department of Justice. Prosecutions for FY 2010 (ending September 30) are now projected to be 167,181, which would be just under the all time high of 169,612 for FY 2009. The most active agency in June was Homeland Security, which accounted for 56% of all federal prosecutions, followed by the DEA (11%) and the FBI (10%).”
