“On February 20th, EFF’s Trevor Timmalong with Scott Horton, Christopher Soghoian, and Wesley Yangwill discuss the Aaron Swartz case at Fordham Law School at 7 pm. They will be looking at the various implications of the Swartz tragedy: How can the law catch up with technology and innovation? Was the prosecution ethical and proper – or overreaching? Does the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act warrant reconsideration? Where does the issue of freedom of information fit into thisand othercases? Should there be limits to freedom of information and how should we as a society assess those limits? This event is free and open to the public, and will be held at Fordham Lowenstein Building, 12th Floor 113 West 60th Street in New York City. Please RSVP with Fordham Law School’s Center on National Security. More information can be found here.”
