“The Kaiser Family Foundation released a new survey brief…that profiles young adults (those ages 18-34) living in the Greater New Orleans area. The brief looks at whether young people plan to stay in the New Orleans area, their outlook for the future, their demographic profile, and some of the challenges they face. The brief is based on data from the May 2007 Kaiser Post-Katrina Baseline Survey of the New Orleans Area, a large-scale face-to-face survey of New Orleans residents. An op-ed written by Kaiser President and CEO Drew Altman, Young Adults and the Future of New Orleans, appeared in The Times Picayune on Wednesday, August 8, 2007.”
