“The Purdue Plant Doctor was a collaboration between Dr. Janna Beckerman (Department of Botany and Plant Pathology) and Dr. Cliff Sadof (Department of Entomology), who contributed equally to this work. The database and processes that drive this website were written by the BoilerApps team of Purdue’s Center for Environmental and Regulatory Information Systems (CERIS). Unless otherwise mentioned, photos were taken by J. Beckerman, John Obermeyer, C. Sadof, or were collected from digital submissions to the Plant and Pest Diagnostic Laboratory from Extension Educators and other residents of Indiana. Other photos were obtained with permission from the Bugwood.org database. Lists of host plants attacked by specific pathogens and pests were obtained from samples collected over from 1990 to 2022 at the Purdue Plant and Pest Diagnostic Laboratory and:
