“This guide is also designed to assist criminal justice information sharing professionals implement special summary performance measures (to support the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Program Assessment Rating Tool (PART) review) that BJA has developed to meet its responsibilities under the Government Performance and Results Act (GPRA). Congress requires all federal agencies, including BJA, to provide performance measures assessing the value of their funding programs. These summary measures will allow BJA to aggregate the results of many projects into a few general measures to document the value of its overall investment in criminal justice and law enforcement information justice information sharing
projects.”
