OPM: “The U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) released the results of the 2019 OPM Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey (FEVS), a survey Federal employees fill out to give agencies an accurate picture as to how employees feel about their work environment. The OPM FEVS provides leadership within the Federal government a snapshot of how their employees feel about their current work environment. Questions in this year’s OPM FEVS ranged from core survey questions categorized as: Personal Work Experiences, Work Unit, Agency, Supervisor, Leadership, Satisfaction, Work/Life, and Demographics. Fast Facts: The OPM FEVS saw a slight improvement in total response rates. Over 615,000 (42.6%) Federal employees took part in the survey, up from 598,000 (40.6%) in 2018. Other positive points noted in this year’s OPM FEVS involve 90% of employees believing the work they do is important and 96% are willing to put in extra effort to get a job done…”
