These data were compiled by the County Health Rankings and Roadmaps program. The measures come from a variety of national and state data sources including the Center for Disease Control and the Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System. The County Health Rankings and Roadmaps program standardized and combined the measures using scientifically-informed weights. For example, explore the different smoking rates around the nation from 5.4 percent in Utah County, UT, to over 45.7 percent in Greene County, IL.”
