Sebastien Paquet, Ph.D. candidate in the Computer Science and Operations Research department at Université de Montréal, has published a useful, well documented guide on what he calls “personal knowledge publishing,” commonly known as weblogs. Mr. Paquet reviews the history of weblogs, weblog applications, weblog content and authorship, examples of blogs that effectively communicate topical information, blogs as publishing tools, and pros and cons of the technology.
