WSJ – “Who is the highest-paid bank CEO in the U.S.? The bank proxies are all in and SNL Financial has run the numbers and ranked the CEOs by their 2013 total compensation. Wells Fargo CEO John Stumpf received $19.3 million in total compensation to top the list, followed by Capital One‘s Richard Fairbank, who collected $18.3 million. J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. CEO Jamie Dimon, who had previously ranked among the top three highest paid CEOs in 2010, 2011 and 2012, slipped to ninth. Rankings are limited to only U.S. companies that publicly disclose compensation and are classified by SNL as a bank or a thrift during fiscal 2013.
