GPO Makes Congressionally Mandated Reports Available to the Public Ahead of Schedule

“The U.S. Government Publishing Office (GPO) has made Congressionally Mandated Reports available to the public on GPO’s GovInfo. GPO fulfilled this responsibility ahead of its one-year implementation deadline set by Congress. Reports are now published and available for the public to access at https://www.govinfo.gov/app/collection/CMR. This marks the first time Congressionally Mandated Reports have been accessible to the public in a single location…Shortly after enactment of the Access to Congressionally Mandated Reports Act, GPO started its implementation of the law’s requirements, and we are proud to have made these reports available ahead of our statutory deadline.  Thus far, 128 reports have been published, and 88 accounts have been registered with GPO from 53 agencies. The first agencies that submitted reports:

  1. Coast Guard
  2. Department of Agriculture
  3. Department of Health and Human Services
  4. Department of Veterans Affairs
  5. Federal Election Commission
  6. Federal Trade Commission
  7. Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board
  8. Railroad Retirement Board
  9. Securities and Exchange Commission
