The Federal Trade Commission issued a press release announcing their complaint (pdf) against 30 Minute Mortgage, Inc., which used this and other websites to spam and then scam consumers to obtain their financial data. The company is charged with violations of the FTC Act, the Truth in Lending Act, the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, and the FTC’s Privacy Rule.
