“The latest edition of the U.S. Department of Justice’s (DOJ) Global Justice Information Sharing Initiative’s Global Highlights has been released and includes a wealth of information about the Global Initiative. This issue…includes information about upcoming training (such as the Global 101 primer and 2008 National Fusion Center Conference) and important resources (such as the requested ‘elevator speech’ explaining the value of the National Information Exchange Model (NIEM), fact sheets on Global Federated Identity and Privilege Management (GFIPM) and a privacy policy technical framework) to help users spread the word and make Global relevant and accessible to those in the field. Global Highlights is designed to provide useful updates on the quality work being done on the Global Initiative while giving insight to its future vision and direction.”
