Deloitte Research’s first quarter 2011 Global Economic Outlook examines the new realities that will shape the marketplace

Global Economic Outlook – Q1 2011 – Emerging markets lead recovery: “As developed economies transition out of the crisis and into sustainable recovery, a bigger and longer term transition is under way. The big emerging markets have gradually increased their share of the global pie and the process of catching up appears to be accelerating, and with dramatic consequences. While the demographic and economic trends which are fueling this evolution have been in place for some time, the implications for global businesses are significant. This issue of the Global Economic Outlook tackles some of the “new realities” that will take center stage at the World Economic Forum meeting in Davos, Switzerland. Additionally, the issue offers in-depth outlooks for the United States, China, the Eurozone, Japan, India, the United Kingdom, Brazil, Russia, and Sub-Saharan Africa.”
