The October level of 208.936 (1982-84=100) was 3.5 percent higher than in October 2006. The Consumer Price Index for Urban Wage Earners and Clerical Workers (CPI-W) increased 0.2 percent in October prior to seasonal adjustment. The October level of 204.338 (1982-84=100) was 3.7 percent higher than in October 2006.”
