The percentage of men possessing four-year college degrees is higher than the comparable percentage of women in 485 markets. But women hold the educational edge in 431 metros and micros. The two sexes broke even in the remaining 26 markets. The accompanying database (scroll to end of article) contains complete breakdowns for all 942 areas.
