Sub-Saharan Africa currently has a dismal 1.4% share of the 3,700 projects in the UNFCCC pipeline, as of September 1. The report Low-carbon Energy Projects for Development in Sub-Saharan Africa: Unveiling the Potential, Addressing the Barriers shows that it doesnt have to be that way, that there is tremendous potential locked up in these African countries.”
