Via CQ Roll Call: ” Lawmakers have released the so-called cromnibus, which would to fund the entire government, except the Department of Homeland Security, through the end of fiscal 2015. DHS would be funded with a shorter-term continuing resolution (putting the “cr” in cromnibus). Congress will likely vote by the end of the week of the year-end spending package, with current funding expiring Dec. 11. A very brief CR may be needed, however, depending on how fast the legislative gears turn. This page will be updated on a continuing basis to house CQ’s ever-expanding coverage of this sprawling bill. The starter dough is our coverage leading up to the bill’s release, but we’ll make available sections of the bill itself, other related documents and, as it posts, CQ’s exclusive reporting and analysis. News stories and documents regarding the continuing resolution passed in September can be found here. Coverage of earlier appropriations action is available here. And coverage of the president’s fiscal 2015 budget can be found here. Note: Access to the documents and bill text below may depend on your subscription.”
