Monthly Energy Review — Dec 22, 2010: “Preliminary data show that U.S. primary energy production rose by 2% in the first 9 months of 2010 compared with the first 9 months of 2009. Fossil fuels accounted for 78% of primary energy production, nuclear electric power accounted for 11% of primary energy production, and renewable energy accounted for 11% of primary energy production.
