FDIC Ombudsman Report to the Industry: “In 2004, as a part of FDIC’s goal of developing standards for services providing to both internal and external customers, the Office of the Ombudsman (OO) implemented a follow-up survey to all of the bankers we contacted during our previous quarters outreach efforts. One of your frequent comments expressed the need for more contact with the industry than our current outreach program provides. In response, OO staff has developed the Ombudsman Report to the Industry, a periodic on-line publication that summarizes some of the comments we are hearing through our outreach efforts and your calls to our office.”
