Via LLRX – Deferred Resignation Email to Federal Employees, January 28, 2025 – updated Feb 4, 2025 – I have updated this article with links to new documents pertaining to directives made by non government civilians to federal government employees to resign their jobs using a purported buyout offer. The emails and “offers” were not sent by nor are they the product of official government action, and have no authority to fund payments to employees. Various unions have sent employees guidance, and I have also included step by step information for current employees to locate and download and save copies of their personnel records, critical actions to take now.
