ProPublica Report: TSA replacing airport X-ray body scanners with millimeter-wave scanners

TSA Removes X-Ray Body Scanners From Major Airports: “The replacement machines, known as millimeter-wave scanners, rely on low-energy radio waves similar to those used in cell phones.
