  • “RUS has reported assistance totaling over $113.5 million in loans and grants to 23 recipients for renewable energy projects from fiscal years (FY) 2001 through 2006. This assistance funded renewable energy projects such as solar, wind, hybrid, hydroelectric and landfill gas. The Department of Agriculture (USDA) anticipates that Congress will increase funding for such programs.”
