Grey wolf recovery: 104, not 10,004 or even 1,004 – the number of wolves in Yellowstone National Park is 104 – after recovering from – Zero.  The guardian reports that despite a slow and critical re-balancing of what many believed was an irrevocably destroyed predator/prey ecosystem but now documented as an environmental achievement, several states and Congressmen are demanding de-listing wolves from federal protection. 104 wolves in Yellowstone and 880 million guns in America – there is no data viz necessary here.  The grey wolf population in America could be destroyed quickly, again, to satisfy demands by groups that include ranchers, hunters and government officials.
